Kindergarten (Pre K) (1:13 ratio)
Our Pre K classroom consists of children 48-60 months old. Our
curriculum emphasizes the cognitive, social/emotional, fine motor,
and gross motor skills need in kindergarten.
Weparticipate in the Wake County Smart Start Early Childhood Transition
Program. In partnership with local elementary schools, teachers
are provided training and information to help make the transition
to kindergarten a smoother one.
Our Pre K teachers use the Second Step Program, a national anti-violence
program, which is used in the Wake County Public School System.
This program helps develop social and problem solving skills to
assist children in dealing with conflicts and issues that may arise
during daily activities.
